The Board Preserves

Taking care of itself is, arguably, the most important role of the Board of Directors. A good board knows how to plan and fulfill legal responsibilities. However, a great board actively seeks opportunities to put preservation practices and policies in place. In the session ‘The Board Preserves’ the B.G.L.P. presents participants with common pitfalls organizations could, with foresight, avoid.

Following capacity building sessions participants are granted access to our mentors. As leaders in the black community, our mentors volunteer with us to guide participants with their individual governance and leadership goals.
